Duo: Remember me for 7 days feature

K-State uses Duo two-factor authentication to keep your personal information safe. This provides a second layer of security for your account by requiring a secondary device to verify your identity. Duo ensures that only authorized users can access your account, even if they know your password. All K-State students, faculty and staff are required to use Duo.

Authenticate only once every 7 days

The “Remember Me” feature makes using Duo more convenient by reducing the number of times you’ll need to authenticate with Duo on the same device using the same browser. This feature remembers your current browser for 7 days.

To enable the feature, check the “Remember me for 7 days” box when logging in. This feature relies on your browser’s saved cookies. If you choose the “Remember me for 7 days” option but still get prompted to authenticate with Duo, it’s likely that your browser is blocking third-party cookies or is set to clear cookies when windows are closed.
