Don’t lose access: Update the Duo Mobile app by Feb. 2

To protect your personal information, K-State uses Duo two-factor authentication. This adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a secondary device to verify your identity.

Duo is implementing a mandatory security update that requires all students, faculty, and staff to update the Duo Mobile app to version 4.85.0 or higher by Feb. 2. Use Adobe Creative Cloud to create a multimedia experience


All active K-State faculty and staff are eligible for a free Adobe Creative Cloud license, including Acrobat Pro DC. Adobe Creative Cloud offers over 20 applications and services, including tools for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, mobile application creation and some optional cloud services.

With Adobe Creative Cloud tools, you can create graphics, illustrations, layouts, design pages and publish and share online videos.

Software available for students, faculty and staff

K-State provides free and for-purchase software products to students, faculty and staff. The goal is to make resources available to the K-State community to provide the necessary tools to reach academic, research and work goals.

Microsoft 365 is a popular resource at K-State. This free office collaboration suite includes tools such as email, calendar, applications and file storage space. K-State uses Duo two-factor authentication to keep your personal information safe. This provides a second layer of security for your account by requiring a secondary device to verify your identity. Duo ensures that only authorized users can access your account, even if they know your password. All K-State students, faculty and staff are required to use Duo. PaperCut maintenance scheduled for May 23

PaperCut maintenance is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, May 23. During this time, papercut-supported printing will be unavailable on all campuses. Thank you for your patience as we work to maintain our IT systems.

PaperCut is a cross-platform print monitoring application that runs on all major operating systems and is used to print wirelessly here at K-State.
