Union Computer Store news: October special, Student Select, and November plans

I stopped by the Union Computer Store Thursday, Oct. 25, to get the scoop on the latest deals and learned:

  • The store is running an October special of $100 off in-stock Dell computers.
  • November sale is being considered for the week before fall break.
  • Microsoft discontinued their Student Select program last spring.  Prior to that, the store ordered 1,000+ copies of Office under that program to have on hand for student orientation and back-to-school in August.  Supplies are dwindling, however.  Copies of the Microsoft Office Suite are still available for Windows and Mac at $79.95 to faculty, staff and students with a current K-State ID, while supplies last.  (See the Union Computer Store homepage for details.)  After supplies are exhausted, academic shrink-wrapped boxed product will still be available, but at a higher price.

To receive timely email reminders of store sales, promotions, and news, email computerstore@k-state.edu and ask to be put on the store’s mailing list.
