Adobe Creative Cloud free to faculty and staff Aug. 1

K-State will be providing Adobe Creative Cloud to all faculty and staff free of charge. Adobe Creative Cloud will be automatically provisioned to all K-State faculty and staff after July 31. At that time, faculty and staff can download the applications and services.

If you currently pay for an Adobe license through K-State, your license will expire on July 31. Your access to Adobe will not be interrupted during the changeover. In addition, you do not need to renew your license, you will not be charged for a new license, and you will not need to re-download your existing apps.

Our new Adobe contract only provides the Creative Cloud Suite.  The Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is a set of over 20 applications and services that allows access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, mobile applications, and some optional cloud services. Acrobat Pro DC is one of over 20 applications in the suite.

More information will be available as we get closer to August, including information on how to access the software and what to do if a student employee needs access.
