The Creator’s Haven Series: Intro to Sound Recording Oct. 10

The Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab offers K-State students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to unleash their imagination and use the latest innovative technologies. During the fall semester, the lab hosts the Creator’s Haven Series, allowing K-Staters to learn new skills and use the unique technology within the maker spaces.

Creator’s Haven Events

  • Intro to Sound Recording — Discover the art of sound recording with Jacque Jones. The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 6-7 p.m.
  • Cricut — Unleash your creativity with Viri Barraza-Rivas as she guides you through the process of using a Cricut to craft custom designs. The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 6-7 p.m.
  • Drawing — Take a journey of drawing, unlocking your inner artist. The event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 6-7 p.m.

Space is limited for the events, and you must register in advance. Register for a Creator’s Haven Event on the K-State Libraries website.

The Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab aims to make innovation accessible to everyone and provides opportunities to explore new ideas and gain inspiration. The lab is located on the first and second floors of Hale Library.
