K-Staters who need their personal or departmental computers repaired can bring them to the IT Help Desk, 214 Hale Library. Services include:
- PC and Macintosh maintenance and repair
- Warranty repairs and authorized service on Dell and Apple Macintosh computers
- Sales and installation of computer parts and software
- Printer maintenance and repair
- Repair of monitors and peripherals
- Pick-up and delivery service for university departments (call 785-532-5591 or use the Department Technology Service Request form)
The labor rate for departmental computers is still $40 per hour, while the labor rate for a personally owned computer is $60 per hour. Both have a half-hour minimum charge. Payment for personal computer work requires a credit card, debit card, or CatCash when you pick up the computer. Departmental computers are still billed directly to the department.
