On Jan. 6, 2014, faculty/staff and student employees will be moved to Office 365, K-State’s new email and calendaring system. In addition to face-to-face and online training sessions, two videos have been created for those who cannot attend one of the sessions or need a refresher on using Office 365.
“Introduction to Office 365” (10 minutes) provides a succinct overview of email and calendaring; updates users on preparations for the migration to Office 365; shares ways to view your mail and calendar; and provides resources to learn more about Office 365.

“Introduction to the Office 365 Web App” (10.5 minutes) demonstrates how Office 365 functions in a web browser at K-State’s webmail.k-state.edu site. It covers how to send and print email; customize display settings; set Inbox rules (that take the place of filters); set automatic replies; and more. Calendar use includes scheduling meetings and rooms; seeing others’ calendars; sharing your calendar; and adding calendars shared by others.
