IT Tools and resources to help you organize, connect and collaborate

How do you stay on top of your game all semester long? Many options are available to you for free, including Office 365 online apps, OneDrive storage space, Zoom audio and video conferencing, and select software.

Check out the following:

  • Use the Office 365 Online apps in Office 365
Sign in to webmail and go to the app launcher to see the available apps. Check back often, as more goodies are added frequently. For more information on the app launcher, see Meet the Office 365 app launcher.
  • Store your personal documents in OneDrive for Business
Store class assignments, homework, departmental and committee documents, public research data, and other project information here to access your data from multiple devices. See Office 365: OneDrive for sharing and storage to learn more. Be sure to read the best practices section.
  • Collaborate with others by sharing documents that are stored in OneDrive for Business
Working on documents with others is a snap. Share with classmates, co-workers, project teams, and more. See Share documents or folders in Office 365 for instructions on sharing.
  • Use Zoom (video and audio conferencing) to meet virtually
Don’t have time to meet face-to-face? Use Zoom to setup an online staff meeting, a training session, a class group meeting, beam in a speaker and more. See the Using Zoom guide to get started.
  • Check out the software licenses page
Various software is available for K-Staters. Go to the software page to see if there is something for you.
