Wacom interactive pen media now available in Media Development Center

Two Wacom Interactive Pen Display units have been added to the Media Development Center, 213 Hale Library. Artists will love the pressure sensitivity and ability to vary the width and opacity of the line. Four Winds Interactive will show their interactive kiosks and digital signage solutions at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. demos on Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Room 209 of the K-State Student Union. Solutions will cover these and more:

Four Winds Interactive will demonstrate their interactive kiosks and digital signage solutions at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., and 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Room 209 of the K-State Student Union.

All three sessions are free, and bagels, coffee, and juice will be provided.

Four Winds will share how their solutions can be used to:

  • Increase campus safety using emergency messaging
  • Display campus maps
  • List building directories
  • Post up-to-date news and information

College students today attend their classes with a variety of web-enabled mobile devices –laptops, smartphones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), iPads, and others. A clever new technology, Poll Everywhere uses those devices to enable faculty to interact with their students in a live way and to post their responses on-screen in real-time.
