Portable, new Insta-Theatre screen available for checkout

Information Technology Services recently purchased a Deluxe Insta-Theatre screen, which is now available for three-day checkouts. Any faculty or student (for class presentations) may check it out, as well as official K-State student organizations. The screen is lightweight (17 lbs.), self-standing, can be set up in seconds, and can travel almost anywhere in its sleek aluminum case.

Free VLC media player handles variety of video, audio, other formats

Do you have a media file or DVD that won’t play in Windows Media Player or QuickTime? Try the VLC media player, a free, open-source, cross-platform (Windows, OSX, Linux, and more) software. It will play a wide variety of media formats without the need for downloading additional codec packs.
