K-State Online: Easily find your courses during the upgrade

by Information Technology Services

During the next year as the campuswide upgrade continues to the K-State Online learning management system, students may have courses in two systems: K-State Online Classic and K-State Online powered by Canvas. You can easily find your courses during the upgrade by staying “connected” with the Connect widget.

To sign in to Connect:

  1. Go to the K-State homepage at k-state.edu and click the purple Sign in button in the upper right-hand side.
  2. Enter your K-State eID and password.
  3. Locate the K-State Online widget.
  4. Click the course you want to access.

For additional help, follow the detailed step-by-step instructions to access the K-State Online widget in Connect.

K-State Online is a learning management system with a collection of tools that students and instructors use to share course material, watch course videos, do group work, communicate, check grades, take online tests, and submit online homework.

K-State Online Classic has been continuously improved over the last 16 years. However, some features and expectations requested are no longer feasible for information technology staff to continue to support. After careful research and a year-long pilot of the tool, K-Staters have selected K-State Online powered by Canvas as the best learning management system for campus.

To learn more about the K-State Online upgrade, view the K-State Online powered by Canvas website.
