During the month of December, all K-State Online Canvas training will be scheduled as one-on-one sessions (by appointment only) or as walk-in sessions (first come, first served). This is designed to accommodate instructors’ schedules and the university’s reduced activity during the holiday season.
One-on-one help sessions are available for instructors upgrading their courses to Canvas. Instructors can schedule an appointment to meet with a Canvas expert to review their course and answer questions. To schedule a one-on-one help session, fill out the request form. A K-State Online expert will contact you to schedule a help session. Personalized help sessions can be conducted in the instructor’s office, Hale Library, or via Zoom videoconference.
Canvas walk-in help sessions are for quick questions about upgrading your courses to K-State Online Canvas. Grab your laptop and stop by any of the sessions in December to have your questions answered. Help is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to bring a laptop with you to access your course.
Remember, all K-State courses need to be upgraded to K-State Online Canvas by Dec. 31. K-State Online Classic will be retired in 2016 and available in a read-only state, which means you will no longer be able to teach courses with Classic. To learn more about Canvas training opportunities, view the training page on the K-State Online Canvas website.
