The Division of IT staff will be staggering their return to campus between August 1 and August 31. Preparations are underway for the start of the fall 2021 semester.

Reminders
- After July 5, all Zoom recordings older than 180 days are automatically moved to Zoom Trash.
- After August 1, IT will no longer retain any course content data from K-State Online, the homegrown Learning Management System, used from 2008-2013 and retired in 2016.
- Beginning August 1, Malware Bytes, a software tool, will be blocked from the campus network.
- On August 31, K-State’s existing personal webpage service will be retired. Faculty and staff can publish business-related content on their academic or administrative unit’s presence within the Content Management System (CMS). If you have a personal website, the URL would be http://www-personal.k-state.edu/~eid.
Maintenance
- HRIS, KSIS, and DARS will be unavailable from midnight – 4 a.m. on Sunday, July 11.
- The Financial Information System (FIS) will be unavailable from 6 p.m. Saturday, July 24, through 6 p.m. Sunday, July 25, for monthly maintenance.
Training
IT is working on delivering Cybersecurity Awareness Training through a portal format making it easier to access and track completion.
