Kansas State University has partnered with Cobblestone Software to transform procurement and contracting activities at the university by implementing a contract lifecycle management system, or CLM. A pilot group is currently testing and using the new solution, and the new CLM will be ready for use throughout campus by the end of June.
Training
Training for the CLM system, contract policy changes, and contract risk evaluation will be offered in two customized sessions. All faculty and staff participating in procurement and/or contracting processes are encouraged to attend one or both sessions on the dates listed. To best meet availability, there are two options for training. A hybrid approach will be used for training; by attending a live training session in the K-State Union Wildcat Chamber or joining via Zoom. In addition, all training sessions will be recorded and a copy made available on the Purchasing and Contract Services website upon conclusion of the training events for anyone not able to attend.
General Overview (Part 1)
The first session briefly overviews the new CLM system, updates existing purchasing and contracting policies, the risk framework operation model, and insurance and IT review processes. All K-State faculty and business staff are encouraged to attend.
