New Canvas Gradebook coming Aug. 19
On Monday, Aug. 19, the New Gradebook will be activated in Canvas. The New Gradebook offers a number of enhanced features including:
- A better user experience addressing user-suggested improvements
- More flexible and intuitive grading

Canvas summer and fall 2019 courses have been created
The Automatic Course Creation for summer and fall 2019 is now complete. Course shells (with the exception of 900-level courses) have been created in Canvas. Student rosters will automatically be kept in sync with KSIS, with student drop/adds happening in near real-time. Changes to the course in KSIS will be reflected in the K-State Online course. To have a 900-level course created, contact the IT Help Desk.

The webinar series highlights many of the powerful features offered through Mediasite. Faculty will learn how to use Mediasite within Canvas, with the final session demonstrating the Mediasite Desktop Recorder for capturing video from your own computer.
