New webpage for non-standard class drop/refund deadlines

The Registrar’s Office has developed a new webpage that outlines all drop and refund deadlines for non-standard classes.

A non-standard class is simply a class that meets for a shorter or longer period of time than a regular session class. Regular-session drop deadlines and refund deadlines are posted on the K-State Academic Calendar.  Non-standard drop and refund deadlines are prorated based on the start and end date of a class.

February IT training calendar online

iTAC’s February IT training calendar is now online. All classes are free for K-State faculty, staff, and graduate students, but require pre-registration. Details are on the specific registration pages. Courses include:

  • Introduction to HTML
  • Introduction to Dreamweaver
  • Introduction to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Working with CSS in Dreamweaver
  • Various eTips

iSIS tip: Beyond the current week’s schedule of classes

Enrollment for Spring 2009 began Monday, Oct. 27, which is the second time that students and faculty will use the new student system, iSIS, to enroll.

K-Staters have been using iSIS for the past semester (or longer, in some cases) so they should all be experts by now, right? That might be wishful thinking-the process gets simpler with each use.  The following tip helps clear up some confusion about viewing a student’s class schedule.
