IT Service Desk temporarily relocates to the first floor of Hale Library Jan. 27-31

The IT Service Desk will temporarily relocate to the first floor of Hale Library from Monday, Jan. 27, to Friday, Jan. 31. You can find the desk in the alcove to the left of the Sunflower Entrance on the south side of the building, across from Holton Hall.

This temporary relocation is necessary to remodel the IT Service Desk area on the second floor. The Service Desk will return to its original location on the second floor on Saturday, Feb. 1.

IT Service Desk closed on Jan. 20

The IT Service Desk will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It will begin its spring semester schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

IT Service Desk reduced hours during winter break

The IT Service Desk will have reduced hours during the winter break starting on December 16. The spring semester schedule will begin on January 21, 2025.

Thanksgiving break schedule for the IT Service Desk

The IT Service Desk will have reduced hours during Thanksgiving break.

On Sunday, Nov. 24, remote services, including phone support, live chat, and service tickets, will be available from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

From Monday, Nov. 25, to Wednesday, Nov. 27, all services including walk-in, phone, live chat, and service tickets will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The IT Service Desk will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 through Friday, Nov.29.

On Saturday, Nov. 30, remote services will be available, including phone support, live chat, and service tickets, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Regular hours for the IT Service Desk will resume on Sunday, Dec. 1.

Do you have questions? The IT Service Desk has the answers you need. Located on the second floor of Hale Library, the IT Service Desk can help with email, eIDs, passwords, Canvas, internet access, KSIS and software issues. They can also help solve computer problems or order an IT service.

  • Friday — 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Saturday —  1 – 5 p.m.

IT Service Desk, Equipment Checkout and Media Studio summer schedules

The IT Service Desk, Equipment Checkout and the Media Studio will begin their summer schedules on Sunday, May 12.

IT Service Desk Summer Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. (all services)
  • Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. (all services)
  • Saturday, 1-6 p.m. (phone and chat only)
  • Sunday – 1-6 p.m. (all services)

The Equipment Checkout and the Media Studio, including the Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab, will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday -Friday.

The IT Service Desk, Equipment Checkout and Media Studio will be closed on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day and Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

IT Service Desk spring break schedule

The IT Service Desk will have reduced hours during spring break, open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 11-15, closed March 16. Regular hours will resume on March 17.

The Media Center will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 11-15. The IT Equipment Checkout will be closed during spring break.
