Kansas Turf Conference in conjunction with KNLA

The conference is an excellent way to learn about turf, nursery and landscape management, visit with old friends, network with new ones, and see all the latest equipment and supplies from local and national vendors.

  • 1 Core hour
  • 3A – 7 hrs
  • 3B – 7 hrs

Future of Turf 2018 on Sept. 6, 2018 – Hosted by Corteva Agriscience (Dow AgroSciences)

Included on the program are research presentations, problem diagnosis, commercial exhibitors, and equipment displays. Pesticide recertification credits in 3A and 3B are available, as well as GCSAA education points.

The KTF Turf Field Days are a great way to see and learn about the turfgrass research at K-State first hand. The events are held annually in the summer at the turfgrass research locations of Kansas State University.

The Field Day qualifies for recertification credit hr for commercial pesticide applicators.

Emerald Ash Borer Workshop – Doniphan County, June 7

The Kansas Forest Service is sponsoring a workshop about EAB on June 7, 12:30-4:30 in Troy (Doniphan County). Topics include identification and biology, EAB quarantine rules, tree injection information, and more. Certified pesticide applicator and arborist credits are available.

Tree Field Day, Overland Park Arboretum, June 2

The Kansas Forest Service is hosting a tree event at the Overland Park Arboretum on Friday, June 2. It’s the Walnut Council Field Day, and usually the focus is more on rural trees. But, with the unique Overland Park location, some of the topics are right in line with urban trees, including tree identification and tree problems
