April 8, 2014. This is the date when Microsoft will no longer support Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Office 2003. This means that after April 8 next year, there will be no new security updates and assisted support options through Microsoft. Running Windows XP SP3 after this date could potentially pose a threat to your computer and be vulnerable to security risks.
Those that are still running versions of Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 are strongly encouraged to contact their department IT personnel to evaluate their options as soon as possible.
