The Graduate School’s deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, for summer graduate students to submit electronic theses, dissertations, and reports (ETDRs) to the K-REx digital repository. During the deadline week, a computer lab has been reserved for students to walk in and get hands-on help from ETDR support staff on two days in 407 Hale Library:
- 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12
- 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14
The lab contains 30 Windows computers connected to the Internet. Graduate students who want to bring their own Windows and Mac laptops can connect through the KSU Wireless network.
When a thesis/dissertation is ready to be submitted
- Use the ETDR review checklist to prevent common formatting mistakes that cause theses and dissertations to be rejected.
- Follow the Graduate School’s ETDR Submission Checklist.
When deadlines are not critical, the ETDR Service Request form (K-State eID/password required) is the primary way for students to request help on thesis/dissertation formatting as well as K-REx and ProQuest submission. Turnaround time is up to five business days based on staff availability.
