Grad students: Summer ETDR walk-in clinics offer thesis, dissertation help

Graduate students who need faster help formatting their theses and dissertations can get it at the Electronic Theses, Dissertations, and Reports walk-in clinics scheduled over the next four weeks:

  • Thursday, July 14, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 401B Hale Library
  • Thursday, July 21, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 401B Hale Library
  • Thursday, July 28, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 401B Hale Library
  • Wednesday, Aug. 3, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 401B Hale Library

Walk-in help session

Bring your laptop and lunch. Leave whenever you like.  Stay to learn more Word solutions and time-saving features. (Hale 401B is on the south side of Hale Library.  When you arrive on the 4th floor, turn left and go halfway the hall.  Room 401B has double doors on your left.)

These ETDR clinics offer help on a variety of topics:

  • Formatting and fixes in Microsoft Word
  • Modifying the ETDR template
  • Reviewing ETDRs to meet Graduate School requirements
  • Converting to PDF
  • Submitting ETDRs to the Graduate School and K-REx system

One-on-one ETDR consultations are also available via email, Zoom webconference, and face-to-face meetings.  Requests are answered within 48 hours Monday-Friday.  Use the ETDR request form (requires K-State eID/password).  For more resources and services, see the ETDR website.
