On Oct. 11, Google released its largest StreetView update ever, with 250,000 miles of new and updated roads. If you have ever wanted to have the same Windows desktop on all of your devices, the era is near. OnLive is supplying an application where you can access a Windows 7 desktop with Microsoft Office 2010 for free. Currently the OnLive Desktop is only available for iPad, but the company has plans to expand the application to Android, Windows, and Mac operating systems.
What exactly is OnLive Desktop? In short, it is a Windows PC in the cloud. You can access it from anywhere you have Internet access. OnLive gives you access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as 2GB of storage space in the free version. In the future when the application is available for multiple devices, you will be able to access the same desktop from all of your different devices.
