Canvas, K-State’s learning management system is getting a new look! The Canvas User Interface (UI) will be upgraded at the end of the day on Friday, May 20. What does this mean for K-Staters? Most importantly, none of the functionality in K-State Online is changing. The upgrade will only affect the global navigation; your courses will not be affected. K-State Online Grading Workshops will be on April 29, May 3, and May 5 to provide assistance for instructors preparing to deliver final course grades. Instructors can stop by to receive assistance with grading schemes, assignment groups, curving assignments, and any other “special” grading situations. No appointments are necessary. The summer and fall 2016 course shells (with the exception of 900-level courses) have been created in K-State Online. Instructors now have the ability to make changes to their courses to prepare for summer and fall. Enrollments in KSIS will be automatically updated in K-State Online as they occur.
