A “Processing Minors ” training session is now available for K-State employees who approve minors for graduation. Registration for the training is done through HRIS Self Service.

“Grading in iSIS” sessions available April and May
“Grading in iSIS” training sessions are now available for K-State employees who enter student grades. Registration for the training is done through HRIS Self Service. iSIS class schedule training March 13-14
iSIS training is now available for administrators with the class scheduler permission. Two types of classes are being offered depending on experience with class scheduling. Training personnel include registrar employees involved with the scheduler updates. Discussion topics include:
- Printing out the class schedule
- New codes for Olathe classes
- Room scheduling
- Class capacity issues
- Editing class information
All sessions are held in Hale 407:
- New Class Scheduler, 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday, March 13
- Class Scheduler Refresher, 10:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, March 14
Resources for submitting grades in iSIS
‘Tis the season for instructors to give the gift of grades to students for the Fall 2012 semester. Fortunately, iSIS makes the process relatively simple and painless for all involved.
If you were unable to attend the Grading in iSIS training sessions the past two weeks, below are links to the deadlines and processes to use for submitting grades. Keep in mind that two new processes were put in place for Spring 2012 and carry over to the current and future semesters: Entering Participation Validation, and Requesting Grade Changes in iSIS. Registration is required by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, for faculty/staff who want to attend the 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday, Nov. 28, “Grading in iSIS” training session, in Fairchild 9. Register for the class via the www.as.ksu.edu/HRIS website.

“Grading in iSIS” training is available for faculty and staff who submit grades in iSIS for classes. Registration is required via the www.as.ksu.edu/HRIS website. Topics include:
- Exporting grades from K-State Online to iSIS
- Deadlines for submitting grades
- The grade-submission process
- A discussion about Academic Related Activity
- How to change a grade in iSIS after grades have been submitted to the Registrar’s office
All classes are in Fairchild 9. Available course times are
- Monday, Nov. 26 – 9:30-11 a.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 28 – 10:30 a.m.-noon
- Tuesday, Dec. 4 – 10:30 a.m.-noon
- Thursday, Dec. 6 – 1:30-3 p.m.

iSIS new Class Scheduler training offered
A new iSIS training class for administrators with the Class Scheduler permission is now available. This particular class is specifically for those who have the Class Scheduler ability, but have not yet been trained on the process. It will discuss each step for class schedulers, from printing the course list to making corrections for a course.

iSIS Class Scheduler refresher training
iSIS training for administrators with the Class Scheduler permission is now available. These classes are specifically for those who have performed the Class Scheduler process in previous semesters. Training personnel includes Registrar employees involved with the Scheduler updates. New discussion topics are:
- The process for instruction delivery methods
- New codes for Olathe classes
- Room Scheduling
- Class Capacity issues
- Discussion of Class Associations, Instructor/Advisor Tables, Reserved Seating and Variable Title Topics
The following sessions will be held in Fairchild 9:
- 9:30-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9,
- 1:30-3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18
- 1:30-3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 25

iSIS Program/Plan training sessions for administrative staff are now available for registration through HRIS Self Service. Training sessions are offered two times this week:
