May 18: Grade submission deadline for Spring 2021
Grades for the spring 2021 term are due by 5 p.m. CDT, Tuesday, May 18 for all term courses including those with final exams given Monday, May 10 – Friday, May 14.
Grade rosters are available in KSIS for grade entry after 5 p.m. CST, Friday, May 7. Students will be able to view grades for regular courses in KSIS starting after 8 a.m. CST, Wednesday, May 19.

Grading in KSIS training for Spring 2021 now available
Grading in KSIS training is available for faculty and staff who are involved in submitting grades at the end of the spring 2021 term. Training topics include:
- Transferring grades from Canvas to KSIS
- Manually entering grades in KSIS
- Updating grades in KSIS
- Submitting a Grade Change Request form in KSIS
- Q&A for grade submission at K-State
All sessions take place in Zoom.
- Tuesday, April 27, 1-2 p.m.
- Friday, April 30, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Financial Information System upgrade is complete
The Financial Information System (FIS) upgrade is complete. This was a required upgrade to Oracle 19c and prepares FIS for a major upgrade that will occur later this fall.
Upgrading is an important step toward the Division of Information Technology (IT), achieving its goal of providing a modern, scalable network and computing infrastructure for K-State. To learn more, view K-State’s IT Strategic Plan.
FIS is the central accounting system utilized by KSU colleges, departments, and administrative units to process payment transactions, reporting, and manage grant post-awards.
Financial Information System upgrade begins 6 p.m. Friday
The Financial Information System (FIS) will be unavailable from 6 p.m. Friday, March 12, through Sunday afternoon, March 14. This is a required upgrade to Oracle 19c and will prepare the system for a major upgrade that will occur later this fall.
