Additional Grading in KSIS sessions added for Spring 2015

Due to popular demand, additional Grading in KSIS sessions have been added for faculty and staff wanting to transfer grades from both Canvas and K-State Online Classic to KSIS. The training is intended for faculty and staff members who are involved in submitting grades at the end of the Spring 2015 term.

All sessions take place in Fairchild 9. Dates and times are:

  • Tuesday, May 5, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 6, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Grading in KSIS Training Available April 28-29

Grading in KSIS training is now available to faculty and staff.  This training is intended for faculty and staff members who are involved in submitting grades at the end of the Spring 2015 term.

All sessions take place in Fairchild 9.  Dates and times are:

  • Tuesday, April 28, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 29, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

There is only one more session available in Spring 2015 for Master Extract Reporting in KSIS. You must have permissions set up for Master Extract Reporting before you can take this class. KSIS: Processing Minors session offered April 14

A “Processing Minors” training session is now available for K-State employees who approve minors for students who are graduating.  The training session is 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, in 9 Fairchild Hall.

Registration through HRIS is required. For more information, see the article Using HRIS to register for classes.

Class Scheduler Refresher training now available

Training classes for administrators with the Class Scheduler permission are now available for the spring 2015 term. These classes are designed for those who have performed the Class Scheduler function previously and is not recommended for those new to the process. Training sessions discuss steps used by class schedulers and also use a discussion format to gain knowledge from the experience of other class schedulers.

Master Extract Reporting in iSIS offered monthly in spring 2015

Training sessions in spring 2015 for Master Extract Reporting in iSIS are now available on a monthly basis for staff who have been granted the Master Extract Reporting permission. Previous sessions were limited to one month of a term. iSIS New Class Scheduler training available

Training classes for administrators with the Class Scheduler permission are now available for the spring 2015 term.  These classes are designed for those who have the Class Scheduler ability but have not yet been trained on the process.  Classes discuss steps used by class schedulers, from printing the course list to correcting information within a course section.  Continue reading “iSIS New Class Scheduler training available”

“Advising in iSIS” training sessions for spring 2015

Training sessions for “Advising in iSIS” are now available for sign-up in HRIS. Sessions include information about the KSU Advisor Center Release 1 (August 2014) and Release 2 (February 2015).  Full-time advisors and faculty advisors are invited to learn more about the most recent updates.

“Grading in iSIS” training sessions are now available for K-State employees who enter student grades. You can register for a session in HRIS Self Service. Sessions are offered Dec. 3 and Dec. 5. Both sessions are in 9 Fairchild Hall. Session times are

  • Friday, Dec. 5 — 1:30-3 p.m.
