K-State Online: Automated course creation in Canvas

Automated course creation in Canvas for Fall 2015 is occurring this week. Next week, instructors will be able to access their Fall 2015 courses in Canvas to make any edits or changes they would like. K-State Online: Mediasite Overview training available June 4

MediasiteTake your courses to the next level with Mediasite. Instructors can use the My Mediasite app in K-State Online powered by Canvas to capture or upload video lectures, screencasts and tutorials. K-State Online: Canvas Walk-In Workshop May 1

Additional Grading in KSIS sessions added for Spring 2015

Due to popular demand, additional Grading in KSIS sessions have been added for faculty and staff wanting to transfer grades from both Canvas and K-State Online Classic to KSIS. The training is intended for faculty and staff members who are involved in submitting grades at the end of the Spring 2015 term.

All sessions take place in Fairchild 9. Dates and times are:

  • Tuesday, May 5, 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 6, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Grade submission deadlines for Spring 2015

Grades for spring 2015 term are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 19. The deadline to copy grades from K-State Online Classic or K-State Online powered by Canvas into KSIS is 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, which allows sufficient time for back-end processes to complete. Grade rosters will be available in KSIS for grade entry after 5 p.m. Friday, May 8.

Students will be able to view grades for regular courses in KSIS starting after 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 20.
