Increased campus demand prompts more Qualtrics training

Qualtrics workshops September-October to learn how to use K-State’s survey tool

Qualtrics is the survey tool used at K-State. Four Qualtrics brown-bag sessions are being offered through the Faculty/Staff Teaching with Technology series this semester. Mark your calendar, bring your lunch, and let’s learn to survey! All events are sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning in partnership with iTAC.

Zoom training sessions available in Hale Library on Sept. 11, Sept. 19

Information Technology Services is offering training sessions in Hale Library on Zoom, a high-definition video and audio conferencing tool that is available to all K-State students, faculty, and staff.

Seating is limited and sign-up is required for these sessions:

  • Wednesday, Sept. 11, 3-4 p.m., 301 Hale Library
  • Thursday, Sept. 19, 10-11 a.m., 301 Hale Library
  • Thursday, Sept. 19, 3:30-4:30 p.m., 301 Hale Library

Key IT resources for faculty/staff

Here’s a back-to-school primer on key IT resources that were updated and/or services added over the summer.  Grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and learn more about campus IT tools to make your worklife easier.

Information Technology Services is offering training sessions on Zoom, a high-definition video and audio conferencing tool that is available to all K-State students, faculty, and staff. Discounted online trainings for NVivo 10 available this summer

To help individual users prepare for research projects, QSR International (Americas) is offering a special price for online workshops running now through June 30.

There are 90-minute workshops on special topics for $125 per course for the general public, or $95 for students. If you enroll in any one, you may enroll in a second at half price. (This applies only to purchases made between now and June 30.)

Zoom video conferencing tool now available to all students, faculty, and staff

Zoom, for HD video and audio conferencing and screen sharing, is now available to all K-State students, faculty and staff. Zoom can be used from any PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android device, or phone line and will soon include H.323 and SIP participants to leverage existing legacy devices including Polycom, Tandberg, LifeSize, and others. Qualtrics survey tool now available for faculty and staff

Faculty and staff have a new survey tool at their disposal available through Information Technology Services.  Qualtrics is a comprehensive survey tool with more than 90 question types, simplified reporting tools, online training modules, a library of surveys to peruse and so much more.

Faculty and staff can begin using Qualtrics immediately by visiting survey.ksu.edu.  Graduate students will need to ask their major professor or supervisor to request access by completing the service request form online.  Continue reading “Qualtrics survey tool now available for faculty and staff”

For this entry, the data set from the hashtag search for #publichealth will be used.  In the NodeXL tab, go to the Export dropdown menu.  Highlight “To NodeXL Graph Gallery…”
