IT Help Desk hours extended through Feb. 5

At the beginning of the semester, the IT Help Desk hours were extended to accommodate health and safety concerns due to the surge of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.

The extended hours will continue through Saturday, February 5, as indicated below:

  • 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. — All services – Hale Library walk-in, phone, and email
  • After 5p.m. — Remote services via phone and email, no walk-in services

As needed, further updates will be provided in K-State Today and the IT News Blog. The IT Help Desk hours are available on the IT Help Desk webpage.

Media Development Center’s schedule for spring break

  • March 15-16 (Sat-Sun) — Closed
  • March 17-21 (Mon-Fri) — noon-4 p.m.
  • March 22-23 (Sat-Sun) — Closed

IT Help Desk hours for fall semester 2013

Media Development Center extended hours over Thanksgiving and before finals week

The Media Development Center in Hale 213 will have extended hours over Thanksgiving week and during the two weeks prior to Christmas break.  This allows more time for K-Staters to use the center’s multimedia technology for end-of-semester projects that require scanning, color printing, CD/DVD burning, video production, a sound booth, and more.

MDC extended hours during final weeks of spring semester 2012

The Media Development Center (213 Hale Library) has extended hours Sunday, April 22, through Thursday, May 10, to better serve K-Staters who need more time  to complete semester projects.

Extended hours begin two weeks before finals week

  • April 22 (Sun) — 1 p.m.-midnight
  • April 23-26  (Mon-Thu) — 10 a.m.-midnight
  • April 27 (Fri) — 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • April 28 (Sat) — noon-5 p.m.
  • April 29 (Sun) — 1 p.m.-midnight
  • April 30-May 3 (Mon-Thu) — 10 a.m.-midnight
  • May 4 (Fri) — 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • May 5 (Sat) — noon-5 p.m.

Finals week

  • May 6 (Sun) — 1 p.m.-midnight
  • May 7-10 (Mon-Thu) — 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • May 11 (Fri) — 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • May 12 (Sat) — Closed

The Media Development Center (213 Hale Library) has extended hours during the weeks up to and including finals week.

Extended hours begin two weeks before finals

  • Monday, April 25, and Thursday, April 28 — 10 a.m.-midnight
  • Monday, May 2-Thursday, May 5 — 10 a.m.-midnight
  • Friday, April 29, and Friday, May 6 — 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 30, and Saturday, May 7 — noon-5 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 1, and Sunday, May 8 — 1-10 p.m.

The Media Development Center (213 Hale Library) will have restricted hours (afternoons only) during K-State’s spring break, March 19-26:

Saturday, March 19 — 1-5 p.m.
Sunday, March 20 — 1-5 p.m.
Monday-Friday, March 21-25 — noon-5 p.m.
Saturday, March 26 — 1-5 p.m.

The Media Development Center in 213 Hale Library will have extended hours of 10 a.m.-midnight on Mondays through Thursdays of Nov.29-Dec. 9, or two weeks prior to finals week. The complete schedule of MDC hours now through Dec. 18 is shown below.

IT Help Desk hours during Thanksgiving break

The IT Help Desk will have a modified schedule this week during the Thanksgiving holiday break. It will be closed from 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, until 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. Normal hours resume 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29.
