Mediasite downtime Friday-Saturday, June 26-27

Planned hardware maintenance is scheduled for Mediasite on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27. Access to Mediasite will be unavailable during the following maintenance windows:

  • 10 p.m. Friday, June 26 – 2 a.m. Saturday, June 27
  • 10 p.m. Saturday, June 27 – 2 a.m. Sunday, June 28

K-State Online: Mediasite Overview training available June 4

Instructors can use the My Mediasite app in K-State Online powered by Canvas to capture or upload video lectures, screencasts and tutorials. Zoom audio/video conferencing upgraded to work with Single Sign-On

The K-State Zoom audio/video conferencing service has been upgraded to work with the university’s Single Sign-On service, which allows K-Staters to use their eID/password to sign in.  Instructions for how to sign in can be found in the Accessing Zoom article.  You can access Zoom by using the Web, the Zoom app download, or a link on your K-State Connect page. Please use Single Sign-On from now on.

Attention: Previous K-State Zoom accounts will be deactivated on Feb. 16, 2015.

K-State Online: Learn how to use Mediasite within Canvas

Mediasite instructional sessions will be held  Sept. 16 and Sept. 19 in Hale Library, Room 301. The sessions will start every 30 minutes from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with a one-hour break for lunch from noon-1 p.m. Stop by and learn how you can use Mediasite within K-State Online powered by Canvas.
